This variant has a tightly finished front because of the usage of translucent acrylox. This will be milled with a recess, causing it to fall partly in the stainless steel channel letter.

When using 10 mm translucent, the upright edge becomes 3 mm thick. With the 19 mm translucent, the upright edge becomes 5 to 12 mm thick.
